It’s a sad day at RDT HQ today as our very well respected Senior QA Engineer Julia Hunt is retiring.
Julia’s first job was working for the London Borough of Greenwich on their (at the time) amazingly powerful mainframe.
This was back in 1978, when code was written by hand on one of these :
It was then sent to typists to be typed onto punched card :
The punched cards were then loaded onto computer via a card reader. A time consuming process!
We want to wish Julia a very long and happy retirement!
