Why RDT?
Joining us would put you working with some of the best in the business; our developers are behind some of the most innovative and robust software there is. We work in collaborative Agile teams and, as a Microsoft Gold Partner, we have access to all the latest tools and technology.
Our offices were designed to support our Agile work practices, with team work areas and a variety of meeting and breakout spaces.
We are always on the lookout for developers who can help push our solutions and maintain our reputation for innovation and excellence. We especially value team players who take pride in their craft and can be relied on when there’s a deadline looming.

What it's like to work here
It’s fun, it’s hard work, it’s challenging! There are highly skilled people here to work with and learn from, and heaps of opportunities to grow, both personally and technically.
Teamwork is key for us at RDT. Our teams form and re-form as business needs evolve and as new business is won. This means we can give you lots of chances to develop your skills, build relationships and your career.
Feedback is essential to the effective running of any business and at RDT it flows up, down and across the company. The senior team will often want to hear the opinions of our teams and they actively encourage innovative ideas and suggestions.
“The recruitment process was very smooth and informative - it felt very much like a two-way process”
– Lead Solution Architect (Kent)
Development and Growth
Working with cutting-edge technology and creating disruptive solutions means it’s important for us to keep everyone at the top of their game. A lot of our budget is spent on training and professional development. We have staff who’ve worked here for more than a decade, and others who often seem unwilling to go home at the end of the day. This is partly because of the nurturing, friendly atmosphere at the office and partly because of our fantastic breakout area.
We hold regular retrospectives that provide open and safe forums for views to be exchanged, while team feedback mechanisms create platforms for meaningful and constructive discussions.
“At RDT we work with a very generous learning budget. We plan each person’s development carefully. A personalised approach, which combines peer learning, online training access as well as the more traditional training course elements to facilitate growth.”

OUR CULTURE
We’re a medium-sized business punching above our weight in the sector. This influences how we feel about ourselves and the confidence that our leaders have in our people. The passion for our products is palpable and everyone is bought in to making them the best they can be.
So expectations are high and delivery is paramount, which can sometimes lead to passions flaring – but it’s all in the interests of the product and the customer. We always make up quickly and it’s never personal!
That said, we have a relaxed approach to many things, such as dress code, hierarchy and social stuff, and we have a great office vibe.
The social life at RDT is vibrant and varied, just like our teams! From lunchtime walks to curling, an annual summer social for families to gig nights and theatre trips, we like people who like the people they work with, and we hope our active programme caters for everyone. But if socialising with work colleagues isn’t your thing – that’s ok too!
"One of the positives of working at RDT is that everyone is really approachable. You can go up to people and ask them about anything. The company has a close-knit family feel to it. You can put names to faces, it's a nice culture in a good location"
- Release Manager
