New talent is integral to RDT’s success. We invest time and money into ensuring that our trainee programmes, including school work experience placements, are meaningful and fulfilling for the participants. Our aim is to capture raw talent, nurture it and keep hold of it.
We develop our youngsters with the aim of creating full time permanent careers at RDT. We don’t take many trainees on each year but every year we take a few of the best and give them a great experience.
Most of our trainees have spent time with us before; either as interns, on placement years or from work experience weeks. Each year we like to identify a small number of talented undergraduates to join us once they are done with studying.

Our internship programme is an integral part of our ‘talent pipelining’ strategy. By offering meaningful interventions for undergraduates on an internship, we aim to provide opportunities for our interns to really get stuck in to the code. Our interns have a great summer with us and many leave with an offer of a full time role once they’ve finished their studies.Find out more
