Software Engineer (Support) – Kings Hill
Salary – £35,000 to £45,000 DOE
Reporting directly to a Senior / Lead Software Engineer and work closely with other engineers, architects, database specialists, business analysts and test analysts, you are comfortable working across the development space including programming in C# & VB, Microsoft SQL and managing services.
Working in an agile environment, yours is an important role in liaising with your team, our customers and third parties to get issues rectified as quickly as possible.
Project Management Assistant – Kings Hill
Salary – Circa £28,000 DOE
This is a fantastic opportunity to join us. This role is to support and assist Project Managers, Product Owners, or Programme Managers in the full implementation of a software development project – analysis, development, testing, implementation and support.
You will help manage the delivery of software development and implementation projects for both internal RDT projects and for external RDT customers.
You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside other internal teams as well as with our clients to ensure the project is delivered within budget and crucially on time.
Lead Platform (DevOps) Engineer – Kings Hill
Salary – Circa £80,000 DOE
The Lead Platform Engineer role is at its heart a DevOps role but with a wide reach and proactive approach.
RDT is a Lean Software Engineering organisation and as such we focus on the key elements of delivery that make us highly efficient such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and build and deployment automation. Unlike traditional Software houses we don’t just do this internally, but bake it into our products to ensure that we provide our customers with our tools and experience also.
As part of the Technology stream, that also includes Architecture, the Lead Platform Engineer is a key role to shape, guide and implement the right platform for our products and teams. The role focuses on designing, building and supporting the RDT delivery teams to efficiently meet the needs of the business and our clients along with driving innovation, consistency and efficiency in our software.
The Lead Platform Engineer will be working closely with the Delivery Platform Owner, in order to help drive change and efficiencies across the RDT Delivery Platform. A critical part of this role will be enabling the flow of work from design through to completion with the rest of the platform engineering team.
The Lead Platform Engineer will need to support and influence key stakeholders, such as product owners, developers and operational teams to ensure our product and architecture strategies are understood, supported and ultimately delivered.
Senior IT Support Engineer – Kings Hill
Salary – £40,000 to £45,000 DOE
Reporting to the IT Manager this is a key position within the company. The primary role will see support of current and new infrastructure, both cloud and in house.
This is a role within a small team with a large outlook on all aspects in the field of IT, from providing desktop support to designing a new platform solution for a brand-new product.
Senior QA Engineer – Kings Hill
Salary – £45,000 to £53,000 DOE
The Senior QA Engineer role at RDT is fundamental to helping with our QA approach within the company. The Senior QA Engineer will work within an agile scrum based delivery team as the ‘champion of quality’. As a Senior QA Engineer you will work with others in the QA team to drive the improvement of processes and tools; along with assisting the development and up-skilling of fellow team members.
