RDT’s employees are a generous bunch, and we give to a number of charities by holding fundraising events throughout the year.

We’ve finished the year in the same way by supporting two groups that provide help to those in need who live close to our Kent headquarters.

We set up a ‘reverse advent’ hamper in the office reception area, and employees were encouraged to put things into it such as food, practical hygiene items, or anything they felt would be of use to a homeless person.

Today we delivered half of the donations to Homeless Care in Maidstone, which runs a day centre, a women’s refuge and a soup kitchen.  The other donations were collected by The Community Food Project, which provides food parcels to people in times of hardship around the area very close to our office.

We are delighted with the response from our people.  Thanks to everyone for your generosity, you have made a big difference to a lot of people’s Christmas!
