RDT’s employees recently organised a night out to The Century Club in Maidstone to play pool for the evening.

They had seven pool tables to play on, with 16 of our people taking part in the event.

The evening started with four groups of four people playing a round robin format of matches, with the same points system as we use in the office when we have company pool competitions.

The top two players from each group went into the main tournament, which was also played on a round robin format.  Congratulations to Rob Small for winning this.

The two players with the least points from each group went into a ‘plate’ knockout tournament.  Jamie Smith was the victor in this competition.

The evening cumulated with a speed pool competition, with Will O’Shea managing to clear the table in 1m 46s!

This was all a good warm up for the players for the company pool competition which has 32 competitors pitting their pool skills against each other.
